Despite notifying it months in the past, the School Education Department (SED) Punjab has didn't put in force the start of the brand new educational year in public and private schools at the same time.
Earlier this yr in January, Punjab SED had extended the continuing academic year from 31 March 2022 to 31 May 2022 and ordered that the subsequent academic year will start on 1 August 2022 and quit on 31 March 2023. Both public and private schools were required to observe these orders
However, Punjab SED has didn't ensure compliance with those directives by means of the personal schools as they have already started the next academic year on 15 April 2022, Friday.
